This piece was an entry for a mystery baby contest on DA, where you design the adult based on the given egg and its I theme. The creature belongs to a made-up species(Byubuu) that the host created. //reuploaded with signature/username//
I got my first client for logo design and they asked for a custom watercolor illustration of Iris flower. So I researched about iris flower and did a rough sketch. From there, I started rendering color using a special brush from GrutBrushes.
“Beware the wild rushes”, my mother told me. “They grow on the bank side along the salt sea!”. But I, being young, I heeded her none. (Inktober inspired by the Decemberists!!)
Weird things, that I come up with. This is just some of the stuff, I have doodled and/or done. I really love Ancient Egyptian mythology and was testing out my gold and silver paint pen. Sadly the pens both ran out of paint. :(
The closest thing to my right was my new tamagotchi which I got for Christmas. It gave me the inspo to experiment with animation! I used the main colour of my tamagotchi for the base, pink. I am not one to use pink, I am all about the blue!! You can find the animation on my Ko-fi, Cheza Sengoku. or link to my post https://ko-fi.com/post/Tamagotchi-egg-hatching-animation-M4M6HG53S
This weekend we were going to celebrate Emma turning 10 (approximate, because she is a rescue) with an Ancient Aliens-themed party. It is her favorite show.
Well... things went sideways.
Long story short, after a vet visit, we learned she needed to have surgery to remove a small mass in her neck :(
Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and we will get confirmation in a few weeks from pathology if the mass was benign. We are remaining hopeful that it was.
Happy birthday Emma! No matter what, you are out of this world
Who hasn't, at least once in their lifetime, fly towards something that seemed reachable?
